CNN To Offer Weeklong Coverage of Remembrance of Reagan
'Remembering Ronald Reagan' Gathers Memories including Exclusives with George H.W. �Bush, Gerald Ford
As five days of official remembrance begins today for former President Ronald Reagan, CNN will provide extensive live coverage throughout the week of the public viewing �in Simi Valley, Calif., to his body lying in state in the Capitol Rotunda to his funeral at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., on Friday, June 11.
Today's "Remembering Ronald Reagan" includes coverage from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library with Judy Woodruff and Anderson Cooper live from Simi Valley, Calif. Tonight, Larry King Live will interview Dan Rather and Bob Woodward and will have exclusive interviews with former President Gerald Ford and former first lady Betty Ford on Tuesday, June 8, and with former President George H.W. Bush and former first lady Barbara Bush on Wednesday, June 9.
The network's comprehensive coverage includes reports from Frank Buckley, Anderson Cooper, Thelma Gutierrez, Bill Hemmer, David Mattingly, Ted Rowlands and Judy Woodruff �live from Simi Valley, while Jonathan Freed reports live from Eureka College, Reagan's alma mater, in Eureka, Calif.
As ceremonies move to Washington, D.C., CNN's live coverage will include Wolf Blitzer and Judy Woodruff. �Hemmer will co-anchor American Morning from Washington, D.C., from Wednesday, June 9, through Friday, June 11.
