Your suggestions for Murdoch's new FOX channel:
Anonymous: I would like to see an international news channel presenting both European
and Asian news from the local perspective not the American perspective broadcasting at local times. There
are enough time zones to provide continuous news throughout the day covering England, Europe, Middle East and
Asia.

My idea for a second network would be a predominately headline-oriented service, with the news repeated every thiry minutes---sort of a mini version of FNC's Fox News Live. These newscasts would expand to one hour whenever FNC airs Fox and Friends, Dayside, and the weekday programming that starts at 4 PM (ET)/1 PM (ET). One exception would be during the hour that Shep Smith presents his Fox Report, during that time, this second network would air an sports news show (with another such edition late at night, with scores and highlights from the night's action. The half-hour newscasts would continue overnight and would air in that format during the weekends. Such a network would allow extra air time for those on-air talent that have been rarely utilized, or more-or-less exiled to overnight work.
chuck: I'd make an entertainment channel. Fox Etertainment Channel would replay the big shows on network Fox, have some original programming, and also have some magazine programs, featuring the likes of Bill McCuddy. You could even have lifestyle programs, featuring FNC's Georgia Witkin. This would also be a oppertunity for FOX to try their hands at a late-night-type talk show.
Tattletales: Entertainment news, celebrity interviews and movie/television reviews combined with criminal investigations/trials of a sensational, high profile nature.
Strategy: Provide a combination of celebrity coverage and courtroom action for the many viewers who love this type of thing, while avoiding alienating supporters of serious news coverage on the Fox News Channel.
Hosts: Rita Cosby and Geraldo Rivera to cover the legal issues. Tim Goodman, entertainment critic for the San Francisco Chronicle, is very funny and might make a good host to discuss entertainment issues.
Ira: Fox should start a business channel. Already they have an impressive group of business hosts and correspondents: Cavuto, Buttner, McDowell, Varney etc. CNBC is basically boring and their stock tickers are unreadable. A FNC type business channel would blow CNBC away!
Keith: If You Were Rupert Murdoch...
Create Fox News Channel 2 and put CNN and MSNBC out of business.
...and give Dennis Miller a show on it. I am a big fan!
Anonymous: If I were Rupert Murdoch I'd just revamp the news channel I already owned so that it would be truly fair and balanced, not the right-wing propaganda machine that it is now.
